Or as one dictionary defines it: “The point in the skull where the na- sal and frontal bones unite.” Or, to make it clearer, as another unabridged book puts it: “the intersection of the internasal suc- ture with the nasalfrontal suture in the midsagittal plane.” The word from the Latin naso—nose—isn’t recorded until about 1885.
