词源 | zephyr. A zephyr is a soft, gentle breeze, taking its name from Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind. Shakespeare makes the first recorded mention of the word in this sense in 1611: “They are as gentle as zephires blowing below the violet, / Not wagging his sweet head.” |
