词源 | pinch an inch. A term used by American runners since the beginning of the running craze, starting in about 1975, for the amount of flesh that should be on a runner’s frame. Anyone who can pinch more than an inch of flesh in any one place on his/her body, according to this extreme formula, is not in good condition. |
