| 词源 | Sunshine State. This is Florida’s official nickname (at least it is on state license plates), but its nicknames the Everglade State and the Peninsula State are a century older. New Mexico shares the nickname the Sunshine State with Florida and adopted it in 1926. New Mexico has also been called the Cac- tus State, the Land of the Cactus, the Spanish State, the Land of the Montezumas, the Land of the Delight Makers, the Land of Opportunity, the Land of Enchantment, and the Land of Heart’s Desire. |
