词源	Stars and Bars. The official flag of the Confederacy during the Civil War. It had two broad red stripes commonly called the bars and a blue field in the upper left-hand corner bearing a circle of stars (one for each of the seceded states). The Stars and Bars is often erroneously depicted as the red cross banner, or battle flag, in Civil War illustrations.
