词源	nag. Nag meaning “to scold” came into English from the Swedish and Norwegian nagga, to gnaw at or to irritate (as in “a nagging pain”). This nag is no relation to nag meaning an old worn-out horse, which probably entered English from a Low German word meaning the same.
