词源	Woolton pie. Many considered this British vegetable pie, thickened with oatmeal and often topped with potato, almost inedible. Named in 1941 for minister of food, F. J. Marquis, the first earl of Woolton (1883–1964), it is described in Maureen Waller’s London 1945: Life in the Debris of War (2005). Other ingredients that could be used in the meatless pie included car- rots, turnips, and cauliflower.
