词源 | camouflage. In Parisian slang, prior to World War I, camou- fler meant “to disguise.” After 1914 the term was “naturalized with remarkable rapidity” by the English as camouflage and ap- plied to anything disguised from the enemy, whether a vari- colored battleship or a convoy of trucks. |
