good enough Morgan. On September 12, 1826, the day his book revealing secrets of the Masons was to be published, Wil- liam Morgan disappeared, never to be seen again. It was charged that Masons had kidnapped, killed, and buried him, but that charge was disproved. “Now that we have proven that the body found at Oak Orchard is that of Timothy Monroe, what will you do for a Morgan?” Masons chided their political opposition. “That is a good enough Morgan for us until you bring back the one you carried off,” replied the opposition.
