词汇 | jog |
词源 | jog. To run at a slow though usually jolting pace. First re- corded in this sense in 1948 in reference to track athletes train- ing or warming up for a race, the word became commonly used with the beginning of the running-for-fitness craze of the 1960s, which was largely inspired by Dr. Kenneth Cooper’s book on aerobic exercise. |
