词源	Technicolor. A trademark name used to describe a method of making movies in color. The word is often lowercased, however wrongly, in figurative contexts such as “The leaves were a tech- nicolor spectacle of crimson and gold.” The Technicolor process was developed in 1917, but the first feature film made in it was Becky Sharp (1935). The word is a combination of technical and color.
