词源	bring me the winner. The French dramatist Georges Fey- deau (1862–1921) is apparently the originator of the old restaurant joke about the lobster with one claw. A waiter sup- posedly brought such a specimen to his table, explaining that lobsters often fought in the tanks and were mutilated in this way. “Take this one away then,” Feydeau said, “and bring me the winner.”
