| 词源 | Stockholm syndrome. A condition in which hostages or kidnapped people bond with and help their captors. It is named after a 1973 bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, when the hostages showed hostility toward the authorities even though such actions might have been harmful to themselves. There have been many similar cases. In the bizarre 1974 Patty Hearst kidnapping case, for example, Patty changed her name to Tania and joined the Symbionese Liberation Army that kidnapped her. |
