Sikhism. Sikhism was founded by Nanak in about 1469. Born in Punjab “he taught that all religions are the way to the same God and all should be respected.” The last Sikh guru was Govind Singh (b. 1666) who introduced the Sikh practice of wearing a turban, carrying a dagger, and never cut- ting the hair or beard. |
