As far as I know, there is no real synonym for OK in the American language unless one counts the long so-called stretch form of OK, such as okeydoke, or the okie dokie used in a popular 1947 song. Several sources, however, say that the Hawaiian shoots or shootz can also serve as an OK substitute, meaning satisfactory, all right, etc. In my own brief travels in Hawaii I didn’t come across this word.
