词源	McMansion; McJob. McMansion is a derogatory term first heard in 2000 for a large, very expensive house with no origi- nality of design, one that looks like all the other “mansions” in the area. Mc is an allusion to the mcdonald’s fast-food restau- rant chain, which has also given us the term McJob, coined in the 1980s for any low-paying, unstimulating job.
