Feynman diagram. This physics graph was designed by and named after physicist Richard Phillips Feynman, who shared a Nobel Prize in 1965 for his work in quantum electrodynamics. Feynman helped develop the atom bomb in the early 1940s and wrote several books on his experiences. One time he visited his hometown of Far Rockaway, New York, to take a look at his high school records. Afterward he told his wife that according to his file, his IQ was only 124, “just above average.” His wife later re- called that he was nonetheless delighted with the results of his in- vestigation: “He said to win a Nobel Prize was no big deal.
