词汇 | doo-wop |
词源 | doo-wop. A 1950s singing style in which back-up singers of a group chant rhythmically in the background while the lead singer carries the song. This rhythm-and-blues style is named after the nonsense word doowop that the backup singers often chant repetitively, though other nonsense words like sh-boom and sh-bop are also used. |
