词源	Kinkaider. American Congressman Moses Kinkaid (1854–1922) saw his Kinkaid Act granting homesteads to Nebraska settlers passed into law in 1904. The homesteaders who settled these 640-acre grants under the provisions of the act were called Kinkaiders by the newspapers of the day and his name passed from the pages of the Congressional Record to the dictionaries.
