词源	Kalashnikov. Mikhail Kalashnikov invented the Kalashnikov automatic assault rifle, often called the AK-47, while recuperat- ing from his wounds during World War II. Later, the weapon was modified and became known as the AKM. For his inven- tion Kalashnikov was made a hero of socialist labor by the former Soviet Union. His rifle is still widely used throughout the world.
