senna (n.)

热带灌木，1540年代（到1570年代指干燥的叶片制成的药物时），源自现代拉丁语 senna，来自阿拉伯语 al-senā。早期的词汇是 sene（约1400年），源自法语。

This is planted in Syria and AEgypt, also in Italie, in Prouence of Fraunce, in Languedocke. It hardly groweth in high and lowe Germanie neither in England ....
