alopecia (n.)

14世纪晚期， allopicia，“脱发”，也是一种涉及面部脱发的麻风病形式，源自中世纪拉丁语 alopecia，来自希腊语 alōpekia，一种皮肤病，也是 alōpekiasis，来自 alōpēx， alōpekos “狐狸”。也称为 fox-sickness。通常被解释为从动物患疥疮的易感性转移到人类状况。
