词源	Hotspur. A person with a terrible temper noted for extreme behavior is known as a Hotspur. The word remembers Sir Henry Percy (1364–1403), who led a revolt against English king Henry IV, which resulted in Hotspur’s death at the Battle of Shrews- bury. Hotspur’s name, however, would probably have never en- tered the language if Shakespeare did not immortalize him in Henry IV, Part I, two centuries later.
