blister. Everything has a name if you look hard enough. If you’ve ever wondered what those delicious bubbles commonly seen on baked pizza dough, or in the cheese on pizza itself, are called, your wondering is over. Proud pizza makers, or pizza- men as they like to call themselves, advise me that in New York, among other areas, they are known as blisters. I have found no printed use of the word. |
