词源 | gams. In the U.S., since about 1900, gams has referred only to women’s legs. But before then, in England, gamb meant any leg, especially a bare leg, and long prior to that gamb meant the leg of an animal, deriving from the late Latin gamba, “hoof or hock,” from the Greek kampi, “bend, curve.” |
