| 词源 | monkey bars. A large three-dimensional playground struc- ture consisting of hotizontal and vertical bars (usually steel) that children can climb and swing on. Originally monkey bars were called “jungle gyms,” formerly a one-word trademark, but though several sources date monkey bars to 1950–55, this term certainly was used at least as far back as the late 1930s, when I swung on monkey bars playing Tarzan. |
