Aztec two-step. More commonly known as Montezuma’s revenge, a term recorded much earlier, the Aztec two-step is a humorous designation for diarrhea, usually diarrhea suffered by travelers in Mexico, and refers, of course, to the ancient Aztecs of Mexico. The term is first recorded as the title of a book in 1953 but is probably older. See montezuma’s revenge. |
