| 词源 | ba-ba-deh-boom. A humorous term imitative of the sound of a gun fired and used to indicate someone was killed by a gun, generally up close. First recorded in the film version of Mario Puzo’s The Godfather (1972). Ba-ba-deh-boom was prob- ably around long before it found its way to the printed page, however. Heard frequently since The Godfather film, it is usually said while simulating a gun with the thumb and index finger. Can also be written as babadehboom to indicate how quickly it is said. |
