Where Have All the Flowers Gone? An antiwar song written by Pete Seeger, which was very popular during the Vietnam War. According to Robert Lissauer’s Lissauer’s Encyclopedia of Popular Music (1991, published in an expanded three-volume edition by Facts On File in 1996), the song’s title came from Russian novelist Mikhail Sholokov’s novel And Quiet Flows the Don.
