词源	Dole’s beard. A name in Hawaii for Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneodides) that is named after Sanford Dole, “the grand old man of Hawaii.” The Pineapple King had a long gray beard that reminded people of Spanish moss hanging from a tree. The moss is also called Mr. Dole.
