词源	Keystone State. A nickname for Pennsylvania since at least 1803, when it was first recorded. Pennsylvania also has been called the Quaker State, the Steel State, and the Oil State. Key- stone was chosen because Pennsylvania was the keystone of the arch that the original 13 colonies loosely formed.
