koine (n.)

公元罗马和早期中世纪时期的希腊通用文学方言，1903年，来自希腊语 koinos 的女性单数形式，意为“普通的，平凡的”（见 coeno-）。早期在英语中作为希腊语单词使用。从1926年开始用于类似普遍使用的其他方言。
