词源	Besame Mucho. Hundreds of singers have sung this interna- tionally famous song written by Mexican songwriter Consuelo Velázquez (1924–2005). The song, whose title translates into English as Kiss Me Much, has been performed over 2 million times on radio and TV alone and has been translated into scores of languages. Ms. Velázquez wrote both the words and melody of Besame Mucho in 1940 when she was 16, before she had ever been kissed.
