| 词源 | Adam’s needle. Adam and Eve sewed fig leaves together to cover their nakedness (Gen. 3:7). This led to the belief that they used the spines of a plant as a needle. Most often the honor goes to the yucca (Yucca filamentosa), native to Mexico and Central America and grown in gardens all over the world. |
