lagan; findals. These two terms aren’t nearly as popular to- day as flotsam and jetsam, but they have as long a history. Lagan refers to jetsam lying at the bottom of the sea but which is usually marked with a buoy in order to be found again by the ship’s owner. Findals refer to any goods found in the sea, in- cluding an abandoned ship or derelict. |
