Unknown Child. Canadian sailors buried an unidentified infant who died in the sinking of the Titanic (1912) in a Halifax graveyard, where his grave became known over the years as the Grave of the Unknown Child. In 2002, DNA tests identified the child as Eino Panula, 13 month old, whose mother and four brothers and sisters also died in the tragedy.
