词源	here today, gone tomorrow. Something or someone passing with time, transient. Often said humorously and sometimes shortened to here today. The phrase dates back to the late 19th century. American publisher Alfred Knopf (1892–1984) turned the words around. He was talking about book returns from bookstores one day when he observed, “gone today, here tomorrow.”
