| 词源 | succotash. The first succotash was made by American Indians, who cooked corn and beans together in bear grease. Colonists used the word in the early 18th century, if not before then, and it apparently derives from the Narraganset Indian misickquatash, meaning “an ear of corn,” or the Narraganset manusqussedash, “beans.” |
