slowest selling book. David Wilkins (fl. early 17th century) is said to be the author of the world’s slowest selling book. Pub lished in 1716 by the Oxford University Press, his translation of the New Testament from Coptic into Latin sold 500 copies in the 191 years it remained in print (until 1907), for an average of about two copies a year. |
