| 词源 | whippet. A fast-as-a-flash racing dog bred in England that is similar to the greyhound except for its superior height. The whippet probably takes its name from the sound of a snap of a whip. Whippets called “bullies” are much more muscular than the ordinary whippets due to variant genes. |
